Coway Icon Ice (CHPI-7410N) is a countertop water purifier with a built-in ice maker. The ice tank holds 1.1 kg, fresh ice is ready in 12 minutes, and the ice is made without air bubbles so it is clearer and more solid. Room-temp water comes straight from the tap, cold water comes from a 0.75 litre tank, and hot water is heated instantly to 45, 70, 80 or 90°C. The Coway Nanotrap™ Double Filter Set and 7-stage UV-LED sterilisation help keep both water and ice clean. It is only 24 cm wide.
The ice tank holds 1.1 kg, enough for about 15 glasses of ice. Fresh ice is ready in 12 minutes for small ice and 14 minutes for large ice, so there is always more on the way.
Coway estimate: a full 1.1 kg tank, 10 small ice cubes per 150 ml cup. Actual amount and time depend on cube size, usage and conditions.
Icon Ice removes air bubbles while the ice freezes, so the ice is clearer and more solid than normal ice full of bubbles. Choose large ice (about 9 g) or small ice (about 7 g).
The ice tray gets 1 hour of UV after it fills. The ice tank gets 2 hours of UV every 8 hours. The ice outlet and water faucet get 30 minutes of UV every 4 hours. The ice tray is also cleaned with hot water automatically.
Coway states 99.99% of germs are eliminated. TÜV SÜD test: 99.9% of bacteria removed in the tested areas. Sterilisation only covers parts exposed to UV.

Icon Ice uses the Coway Nanotrap™ filter, with room-temp water straight from the tap, instant hot water and a 1.1 kg ice tank. It is 240 mm wide with Heart Service every 6 months. AIS uses an RO filter with tanks for 1.8 L room-temp, 1.8 L cold, 1.5 L hot and 0.7 kg of ice. It is 270 mm wide with Heart Service every 2 months.
The rental promo is RM20 a month for the first 7 months (RM21.20 for the 3+2 plan). After that, payment follows the normal price of the plan you chose. Buy outright has no RM20 promo.
